A UNIQUE K-3 SCHOOL IN MATURE NEIGHBORHOOD

Edmonton Public Schools has noticed that the aging schools in four mature communities required replacement with two 21st Century Learning facilities. Since Elementary schools are critical moment in a child’s development when they begin to find passions and interests, Edmonton Public Schools wanted to get the most out of these facilities and turned to an IPD format. With only a handful of K-3’s built in Edmonton, this new school funded by Edmonton Public Schools was delivered as an IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) model and created a unique atmosphere to design for children in the first few years of their life.

The individuals at Eng-Spire worked on this project at their former employment position at Stantec.
